    problem while benching.

    Hello guys,

THis is my 2nd week of Max-OT, and I was very pleased with the first week.

    To make this story short.

I was benching today, and warmed up with what I did last time for the 4-6reps...which was 70lb dbs. Fine, i was stronger, did 10. Then i jump to 75lbs, and fine, I did 6. Took a 2-3min break went back, and my right side )the stronger side) just did'nt move the weight, while my left being the weaker one, pushed the db up no problem. I thought i must be out of energy, quickly took dwon a gatorade sat around for 10min. went back same thing...not a pain but akward feeling in teh shoulder. Same with my bench, but i dropped down 10lbs from last week.

I've been hitting the shoulders hard for the past 4weeks, and gained alott of size. I also have been cutting, so i dropped the milk to 1glass a day, which before was upwards of a liter. So there is much less calcium in me. I'm growing and losing wiehgt at the same time which is great. but this shoulder problem is nagging me. and i can't do a proper chest routine. What should I do?? I'm going to the doc 2moorow 2 see what he says.

Also with DB press, even tho my left moves slower then the right, will it still grow at the same rate??? or do i have to re-vamp this?? my left pec is slightly smaller then my right, as with everything else.

    THanks in advance.

like your right shoulder didn't move the weight at all? Like it just stopped working?

like It did'nt let me put much force into the lift, it was the shoulder cause i could feel the tension in it, and after it hurt.

It sort of stalled. I'm worried because i don't wanna damage my chest workouts.

    thanks

did something happen on the set prior to this? sharp pains? a 'pop' sound? odd feelings in the shoulder area?

    I doubt it's the milk...

You could stand to warm up a little better...I would never grab something that I pressed for 4-6 reps and attempt a warm up set...maybe HALF that weight for like 5 easy reps and progress from there.

The equivalent would be me putting over 200lbs on the bar for a "warm up" set on bench.

um. I'm no expert...but if I felt no pain in my shoulder and it didn't hurt to lift, I don't see why not. Just start warming up better, not only is it safer, but your nervous system will be more responsive.
