    What is your shoulder workout?

    It's about that time to change my shoulder routine and I was wondering what different workouts all you guys have to work shoulders.

    Train Movements Not Body parts. Read stickies. Shoulder Gets worked in almost every pushing/pulling movement exercises, and I don't do any isolation for them.

    I just do overhead pressing variations and a little isolation rotator cuff and rear delt work for good measure.
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

    OH Press, Bench Rows, + Bench Press are my main ones, but like Mike said - they get worked in pretty much all pushing movements, and a lot of pulling ones too.

    My favorite routine:

    Cable side laterals for 3 sets of 12-15
    DB overhead presses for 3-4 sets of 8-12
    DB side laterals for 3 sets of 10
    DB rear laterals for 3-4 sets of 12-15
    DB shrugs for 4 sets of 15

    My current routine:

    Chest workout(hits front delts)
    Machine side laterals for 4 sets of 10-15
    Reverse pec-dec flyes for 4 sets of 12-15

    I like it. Plus they do make a difference... Besides I can't Mike. I've decided to go easy on the joints. I've got plenty of size and strength. My workouts will get me to my goal...

    Who told you that isolation and machines are easier on the joints?

    For me, other than dips/benching etc just standing overhead presses, and push presses... No need for rear delt flys, lat raises etc in my opinion.

    Standing dumbell presses 5 sets 8-12 reps

    Superset 3 sets
    Upright Barbell Rows 6-10 reps
    Dumbell Shrugs 8-15 reps

    Done Every 4th day.
