    Cardio question

Is there really such thing as too much cardio?

For me, it seems I am getting faster results by doing cardio twice a day for 30 minute periods. I sometimes even do it after or a couple hours after I lift weights.
I seem to be keeping my muscle.

So what do you all think? What is considered too much cardio?

    Thanks!

As long as you are properly eating you should be okay. The problem is when people do lots of cardio and neglect nutrition. What works for you may not work for other people. Why are you doing cardio twice a day? Are you trying to lose a lot of weight or just a little bit of weight?

I have another 20lbs to go, and especially around my mid-section. It's so wierd, I am skinny everywhere but my stomach. I got to figure out how I can lose it.

    Thanks!

That would be called "spot reduction", which doesn't work. We all have those areas and yes they suck. The only way to get rid of them is to keep doing what you are doing and it will eventually come off.

Depends on what you call good results. If your losing 10 lbs and 3% b/f and 2% LBM then that's not good. Fast is not the way to go.

Ideal for bodybuilders would be to lose B/f and retain their LBM. This can be done by doing a brisk walk 45-60 min's a day 5-6 days a week and keeping Calories close to maintence.
