Am I overtraining?

    Am I overtraining?

    I am 5"4 19% Bodyfat at weigh 170 pounds My goal is to bulk up, Is this overtraining my upperbody?

    I do a full upper body workout every other day, and work legs 2x week

    Week 1

    Chest Exercise 1- 3 sets 10-12
    Chest Exercise 2- 2 sets 10-12

    Back Exercise 1- 2 sets 10-12
    Back Exercise 2- 2 sets 10-12

    Bicep Exercise 1- 3 sets 10-12
    Bicep Exercise 2- 2 sets 10-12

    Tricep Exercise 1- 3 sets 10-12
    Tricep Exercise 2- 2 sets 10-12

    Shoulder Exercise 1- 2 sets 10-12
    Shoulder Exercise 2- 2 sets 10-12

    Week 2

    Chest Exercise 1- 3 sets 6-8
    Chest Exercise 2- 2 sets 6-8

    Back Exercise 1- 2 sets 6-8
    Back Exercise 2- 2 sets 6-8

    Bicep Exercise 1- 3 sets 6-8
    Bicep Exercise 2- 2 sets 6-8

    Tricep Exercise 1- 3 sets 6-8
    Tricep Exercise 2- 2 sets 6-8

    Shoulder Exercise 1- 2 sets 6-8
    Shoulder Exercise 2- 2 sets 6-8

    Legs are added in 2x a week to this routine Rinse and repeat

    I would say you were overtraining, chest work hits your triceps so your doing 10 sets working triceps and same with back and biceps. I think 5 sets for chest would be fine once, or maybe twice a week. Are you working every set until failure? What kind of exercises are you doing?

    Yes and it is also a terrible workout.
