I thought the same thing when I caught some of it today. The women trainers just look like bimbos, "Now I'm going to have you doing lots of cardio ok? You need to lose the weight".
The show looks ghey, but it is kind of fun to watch.
Anybody catch this show on bravo?? I had heard about it and finally got a chance to check it out.
Now these guys do have more experience than I do. But I still think they suck about as much as 90% of the trainer population. And they all think they are uber elite. Our mods shit out more knowledge than these guys have. Of the male trainers, only one has an impressive physique, and if I saw the women in public I would never guess they worked out, let alone are an "elite" trainer.![]()
I saw a bunch of forced reps, direct arm work, and a LOT of smith machine work. I can quote one of the trainers telling a girl she is tightening up her abs to stabilize.....
She was doing smith bench presses...lots of core stabilization goin on there![]()
This is very motivational for me. Cuz I know I have potential to really seperate myself from these guys and rise above the rest as the mods here have already accomplished...And these guys are chargind obscene amounts of money...(I think the owner charges like 400 an hour)
Thoughts? Has anyone else seen this show and can comment on some of the trainers methods/comments??

It's ridiculous in the manner if presents fitness, just like everything else out there on TV.

I can't stand how the two girlfriends fight all the time. That Mimi just whines and pisses and moans al the time.![]()
Chicks with guns ROCK!
they are fucking morons. they are terrible trainers.
But, what are they going to do........Put an ugly mug like myself on prime time TV? Hell no!

This show has very little to do with working out. I watch it INTENSELY hoping not to miss her or a trainer spew some bullshit....it makes me feel good about myself.
On another note. I saw another episode. (it was on marathon style today when I was at work) One of the clients was getting ready to go on some kind of tour...When the dyke of an owner finds out she tells her trainer, basically, that his client should be sweating..........
(dramatic pause)
......
...
When should a client NOT be sweating??
My clients are sweating in ANTICIPATION of the ass kicking they are about to recieve....or maybe it's the 10 minutes on the eliptical..who cares.
I don't even want to watch that puke.

yes, that is why the avi is of my back.
If you get fit tv though there is a good show that Gabrielle Reese hosts called Insider training. Every week they take two pro athletes and document either their offseason or inseason training and talk to their trainers. they have had some heavy guys on like Mark Verstegan at Athletes Performance and Mike Clark of NASM (he was training Barry Zito, pitcher for the Oakland A's). It is a cool show.
