Im currently working through a period of a periodization scheme and am approaching the week where my new maxes will be tried.
I want to know how much more I can excpect to lift, so as I dont try to lift too much and fail... wasting considerable energy and loosing the chance to find an accurate max.
I've been working 3 week cycles
cycle one: 5 sets of 10 at 60%-69%
cycle two: 4 sets of 8 at 70%-79%
cycle three: 4 to 3 sets of 6 at 80%-89%
cycle four: 3 sets of 4 and under at 90%-100%
cycle five: new max out
current maxes: bench squat and deadlift= 295
