Having more visible musculature is about low body fat. That is, removing the cover on them, so to speak. You can have all the muscle in the world, but if it's being covered by fat, then it won't be visible.
A big chest comes with a big body overall. You're not going to have an amazing chest at the expense of everything else unless you are genetically blessed. Even then, you would want to look in proportion anyway I think.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

getting killer abs is like a few mentioned above "Strictly Diet" but you do have to work them out as well. Working out your abs will not make them appear, eating right and doing one of the most important things IMO is CARDIO! without cardio your abs wont come out as quick.
A lot of men want the appearance of them to be as a V as in big on the upper boddy and narrow out near the bottom.

.....Diet is the most important thing. you dont have to do endless crunches or ab work. abs get worked enough in compound movements, so their isnt much need for dierect ab work.

yea im not saying that there is im just saying thow if you want strong abs and want them to look decent then you need to put a little bit of work into them you cant just eat what ever you see and sit around and do nothing you need to diet right and at least work them out occasionally

What most consider "ab work" is in all reality bullshit. It's been said on this board that the rectus abdominus is primarily composed of typeI fibers and has little potential for hypertrophy . Big heavy compound lifts utilize the core musculature in the fashion that it was meant to be used....trunk stability. If you have a weak core or would like to see it stronger..then planks, bird dogs, and variations of those will be plenty and a good addition to any program.
