I luv them, but can't get better. how do I improve chins?
my goal is to do 20 by the end of the year.
21 but I only weigh 159lbs.

Try holding yourself up on the bar as long as you can in between sets. Also you need to find out where your weak spot is: is it your grip, the last few inches to the bar, the start position, whatever. Once you know that you can address that area. I would also do 10 reps of 5-10 sets on one of your training days (doing them firsts in your routine) and then the next time you do them do low reps but with added weight, something like 5 reps x 3-5 sets.

im at 150 and as of yesterday i did 23, but the last 2 i did werent exactly perfect form..
Im now starting to add a 25 lb weight on my waist for added resistance...
I can do at least 10 dead hang pull ups....so I'd imagine I can do more chins than that....they've always been easier for me. I weigh almost 200 right now.
I would go see how many I can do right now....but my hands are hurting right now from deadlifts...I actually bled today.


15 at 180 if i really pull out all the stops.
I've done 4 with 15KG on my back though.

8 chins with a 45lb plate. BW 170.


I did like 22 wide grips at 155 before but now I can only do like 6... im working back up though.
18 at 215. No bouncing either. I pause at the top and bottom.
3 sets of 10 with 30 pound DB between legs, weight 160. Adding weight every week.

What's the best way to improve if your sticking point is a few inches below the bar?
