Fatty spots on sides above waist

I have some fat buildups just above my waist on the sides that don't seem to go away. I'm not gaining any muscle there either. What would the best way to solve this problem be? I posted a picture with flexed lats so you can see what I mean.

I'd say the last thing you need to worry about is fatty spots.

You're not fat and there's no such thing as 'spot reduction' so there'd be nothing you could do about it anyway.

    There's no way you're 205. I'm 6 foot or a bit taller and I'm just over 195 right now.

Also, you don't have any significant amount of fat there. I get like that sometimes, but you have to be pretty damned lean to have nothing there, at least I do. I store fat there before I store it on my belly.

I think you need to gain size, but that's my opinion. If you are happy just getting cut and don't mind being a tad bit smaller, then check out the diet & nutrition forum, and perhaps post what you're doing training wise here so we can help you with that.
