One thing id add to assasins suggestion; id personally split squats and deads into different days, there both very taxing and demanding on the body, unless your planning on doing heavy squats and then light deads afterwards or vice versa, i would do them on different days, you wont reach your potential on the second excersize if your doing them on the same day and therefore I dont feel you would be getting the maximum potential out of the one you do after.

If ive done very heavy squats I wouldnt even think about doing deads after, and vice versa, but having said that some people chose to do heavy squats/light deads one week and heavy deads/light squats the next week. All depends on your goals I guess, good luck

    Assassin,

I dunno dude. Doing Squats AND Deads on the same day is quite honestly going to kick my ass. Im usually quite winded after Squats. Surely that my lower body will be screaming "FUCK NO" as I walk over to the Deading section after my Squats but I'll give it a try anyway.

Also, I know for a fact that there isnt a chance in hell of me successfully pulling off sets of shugs after doing Deads earlier. This workout youre giving sounds a bit advanced. Im still a beginner bro. I know you didnt know that. No big deal...

Thats the same thing that I was thinking. But, I guess I wont know my potential until I give it a try. Im pretty sure that doing two compound lower body excersises is going to fuck me up though. Thanks Stan.

No worries mate. In my experience working them on the same day leaves me pretty much imobile for the rest of the day, which usually isnt a good thing! I find to get the potential from both lifts its best to keep them on different days. Good luck

try lightening the volume , full body workouts focus on frequency with low volume per bodypart at each work out.... and yes dead lifts are enough no need for shrugs with them ,but if you'll do another ham dominant exercise put shrugs instead or if you won't do deads with squats on the same day..

Personally I dont like to dead and squat on the same day because each takes a ton out of me. But as was suggested, if you would want to make one high volume and one low, then it ought to work.

doing both on the same day definately has it's merits. not a huge amount of people will really nail themselves with a few sets of squats, so the deadlifts can be good to finish yourself off.
