    better Gains..Age.

would you see better gains at 19,20,21,22 years old etc. than you would at 16? i mean i'd just figure at 16 you'd just be building a good base, etc.

    discuss.

from personal experience, the best gains come at 2 points.
    1. when u are a beginner.
    2.. early 20's.

That's going to depend on a lot of factors, one primarily being your hormonal profile at different ages. It will depend on the person and their rate of maturity/growth.

I've heard of many people saying they hit their best strength gains in their mid-late 20's.

I'm sure as most athletes retire in their early to mid thirties that between late teens and up to late twenties are probably the optimal time for gaining - having said that I think you can still astound the world at any age... (I hope)

When you're a teen, your body hasn't fully grown yet. Especially things like the forearms and the chest will really develop a lot naturally when you grow up. Therefore it may seem like you're getting more gains when you're 18+.

The rest is dependent on your hormonal system I guess.
