    push or pull ?

I was just reading about the push pull concepts. Should I not be doing chest and back in the same day based on that? Also my bi's and tri's. my week goes

    day 1
    -chest and back

    day 2
-shoulder and arms (both bi's then tri's)

    day3
    -legs

abs are incorporated into every workout at the end. Also, my workout days are not in succession. Usually it's mon wed and then either fri or sat.

Would you all suggest that I stop the above and break it up into pull and push days?

Your workout is not good. You can do push/legs/pull or an upper/lower split. Some here like full body workouts but they are not good IMO unless you just want to stay fit and not really grow much.

I enjoy working chest and back together in order to try and up my bench. But if I am simply in it to get bigger I would just soon go push/legs/pull.

Yes, go push/pull/legs instead. The exercises synergize better.

aight thanks for the advice wed i'm doing legs and then i'm gonna take 3 or 4 days off, afterwards i'm going to impliment push/pull/legs. do you all think that the reason that my gains in my bi's weren't significant because of what I was previously doing?

The split doesn't say enough in and of itself. That is only a small part of the workout program.

Most likely you aren't eating enough food if you aren't gaining mass.
