Thumbs up A shot of reality!

I’m not a fan of the Muscle Mags or should I say rags. Anyway here is a great excerpt from Cyberpump. Rryan Tolben is ripping up (as usual) an article on bicep training. It just another example (if true) that a drug-induced bodybuilder can use such ridiculous and un-scientific tactics and still make gains.

It’s no wonder the masses are confused. Its no wonder that people train for years and only put on a few pounds here and there. I don’t know why anyone would read these rags. If you’re a newbie you have no business doing 20-30 set workouts. If you’re experienced you should already know better. And if you’re a juice user you don’t need to read them cause you and do any kind of hap-hazard crap and still make gains.

I guess you could buy them to look at the chicks!

    Just a rant!

To refuse to learn anything that could prove beneficial to yourself is a working definition of stupid!

High-intensity training is going all-out, not almost all out. It is taking one set to one's absolute limit, not almost to the limit. It is using whatever equipment’s available. It is not the words of two or three men, but a commitment to work as hard as possible while in the gym without socializing, resting excessively between sets, or falling prey to the 'this isn't going to work so I'll copy the star' attitude"

    Hey Mike!

I probably should of let you know I came over here. I couldn’t bear the MM board any longer. Some of the mods and all their infinite wisdom started to get on my nerves.

I think I like this board better. Its nice that it is not driven by a supplement ware house .

So how is the training going? Mine is great, couldn’t be better. I’m stronger than ever. I’m not at my heaviest weight but I've never looked this good a 218!
I reached a point where I have to drop the pre-exhaust on every other workout for chest and back. I also have to take some extra rest days after squats. Will more than likely take 5 days off after next squat workout.

    Its cool.............

It could also be called: " Invasion of the people who train brutally hard in order to get out of the gym quickly and not come back for a few day in order to spend time enjoying the many aspects of life other than weight training." ........whew!!!!!! That’s a mouth full....

My gains are steady. I dropped 15kg on the squat because i noticed i wasn't going low enough. Everything else is great!
I'm leaving for a couple of weeks, so i'll start a new journal sometime in June.
