    Can't figure this out on exrx or google

    I'm going through a new routine and writing down on paper the new lifts I haven't done yet that I don't know. I'll probly be asking about more exercises as I go on down this list.

    But to begin...what the hell is a back squat?

    and romanian deadlift? is it half squat/half deadlift?

    a back squat is a normal squat (bar on your back)

    romanian deadlift- a deadlift with a neutral back, and a slight bend in the knees

    What do you mean neutral back? This is essentially half a squat/half a deadlift right?

    These are the shrugs w/ the bar behind your back in the smith machine, correct?

    I like to do one set after I do the last front shrugs just for the hell of it. I like them.

    They can be done anywhere.
