I'm sort of a douche at training in general, as I was bred from the body for life program. I actually still like the program as it is balanced, if you tweak it abit... That said, I'm looking for abit more hypertrophy, namely in my bi's.
Abit of history: I used var a while back, twice, and wasn't all that impressed because I was already lean and found out after I had used it that it wasn't as healthy as I thought it was. It didn't hurt me according to blood work, but that's all I got. THEN, i found out from tests that my test was lower than my fifty year old dads, and i'm bloody 19. So I started a test cycle about five weeks ago with aromasin... Okay, that all out of the way, I want to make it clear that I recover incredibly fast, incredibly fast... and that I do HIIT morning cardio 3-4 times a week and that is NOT going to change. Period. I rest on sundays. I follow trouble's recommendations on pre and post workout supplementation/shakes with the addition of vinegar and lemon juice. So what would you guys do if you were solely focused on upper body hypertropy taking all that into account. Remember, I eat alot of protein, fat, carbs throughout the day, atleast 3k in cals, and I recover like no one else these days. I also get adequate sleep now (per troubles bit... uh, recommendations). Hovering near 190, 5'10, 9% bodyfat and abit of water bloat. Any questions please ask. EDIT: Quick "idea" of where I am strenth wise, I can bench 250 X 8, 270 X 3. EZ Curl (so both bi's together) 140 X 5. Uh, hammer (tricep) press 250 X 6. Trap pulldown is at 150 X 6. |

Woah, that's hard to read.
For how long have you been training? What is your current routine? Have you read the stickies yet? |

what makes you think you recover fast? The fact that ur not sore after you workout or somethin? Low test levels would mean slower recovery...I would imagine now that you are on a cycle you recover more quickly...otherwise....you won't.

No, not "lack of soreness"... The fact that I'm on test, and the amount of BCAA's and EAA's I supplement help immensly.
And that's not hard to read. Read the stickies? Dude... Nevermind. |
