I am a fencer who needs stronger legs (and butt) but cant go to the gym.
I need strong legs for my sport but mostly endurance in my legs, my legs get tired long before my cardio goes out when im competing.
The other issue is that i practice 2-3 nights per week from 8-10 PM, which from what i understand isnt good workout procedure. the workouts are pretty much leg exclusive but my right shoulder also get very tired.
to help myself gain strength I have tried going on a bulking diet the day's that I fence and the next day but eat to maintenance on all other days, so i dont get fat and slow (which will make me lose).
ie/ if i fence tuesday-thursday i will eat for bulk tuesday-friday
The things that tire me out are fencing foot work which is like running around with your legs bent to 90 degrees, both quad and ham work. Lunging, works the butt i find. As for the shoulder im just holding my arm out extended forward with about 5 lbs in my hand for a long time (hand perpendicular to the ground if it matters)
Any excersisces/diet that would help me to increase my leg/shoulder strength would be great. (im mostly concerned about legs). Specifically things that dont require me to go to the gym, my fencing allready takes up all of my extra time.
my coach just tells me to practice more
i was hoping there could be some method of like body wieght single leg squats or something.. if there isnt well then.. i guess that it

you can do lots of BW exercises. the problem is that you will quickly adapt to that, especially if they already have some strength (which from fencing, they probably do), and then you will need ways to load yourself.....ie, weights.
I say i cant go to the gym because I'm a Engineering Physics student in College, (Its like a joint modern physics - engineering degree) which takes up lots of time. Plus im in student government and other crap like that. I dont think i have any more time to give, i would definatly need to skip the gym quite often.
So to increase my leg strength i would have to keep increasing my resistance. I have at least 200lbs worth of text books, I could put them in my backpack and do lunges, squats and step ups when i came home from fencing. I would be ghetto as hell but... would it work?

Don't use ghetto in that sense. And it might be bad for your back. Invest in some dumbbells and do lunges around your dorm room or something.

If you have time to workout with your bodyweight, why don't you have time for the gym? You don't need to spend a whole lot of time to get a good workout in.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
