    Elbow Pain from climbing rope

Hey I decided to climb up a rope in the gym the other day for fun and found that it is a great upper body excercise. After about the 5th time up my elbows started to hurt and after i went home they were really painful for about an hour. i assume its the tendons and ligaments because they are not used to the movement.

    Ill take a poll here:

    1) Continue to climb once or twice a week and expect poain to go away due to strengthening of the tendons and ligaments

    or

    2) Stop climbing because it is f...ing up my elbows

I personally am inclined towards choice 1 but the reason I post is because I found some website dedicated to rope climbing and the author says that elbow pain is bad and you should stop if you experience this.

Rest it and ice it for now. You could give it a shot at a lower volume, but if the problem ends up a reoccurring one, then stop it. Don't do anything that hurts you.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
