Trial and error. Try it and if you arent cutting around 2lbs a week then you gotta drop a few more calories. No one will have an answer for ya, just got to see how your body reacts to diet and training.

why not try to increase your runs by half a mile per week? you'll get fitter, and start burning more calories. Depends how long it takes you to run 2miles as well.

also, try different types of training. Interval training 30mins, steady state (going for a run at same speed) for 20-40 mins.

if you're only doing 10-15mins a day thats better than nothing, but its still not much. work harder. do more.

add some weight training in there as well.

It will work... Or you'll have to run more or eat less. It's that simple.

HIIT like Slip said is great. Be sure to try and do it slowly however. Far to many people try to lose 20lbs or so in a month. Its not only unhealthy its easy to gain back as well as losing alot of muscle mass.

Well HIIT is high intensity interval training. Meaning basically take 30 seconds to a minute and go at your maximum intensity and then for the next 30 seconds or minute walk or a nice slow jog.

I did that when I was doing a lot of cardio. It's solid advice, I think, and works great.

you'd really want to add variety. Try a 40min run. Try a run outside, its a lot harder than treadmill running. And interval training as previously mentioned.

You wiegh 195, but only run at 5mph? How tall are you? (trying to ascertain what kind of shape you are in)

On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

for some reason I've been getting better results from traditional cardio as opposed to HIIT.
