I definitly think it depends on experience. If you are a novice (and you are not), then no a set scheledule is better. But if you are very experienced (as you are), then I think it definitly could be a good thing as long as theres no skipping workouts.

. Damn man, how the hell do you do it? I would literally break if I had to workout at 4am and use the weights I do. I am sometimes not fully awake by 4 in the afternoon, let alone 4 in the morning.
