A little help deciding my program
i was wondering which of the three program sets are best for muscle growth:
Set A / Set B / Set C/ day 1 / day 1 / day 1/ Chest / Chest / Chest/ day 2 / day 2 / day 2/ Bi's and Tri's / Biceps / Back and Bi's/ day 3 / day 3 / day 3/ Traps and Shoulders / Traps and Shoulders/ Traps and Shoulders/ day 4 / day 4 / day 4/ Back / Tri's and Back/ Triceps/ day 5 / day 5 / day 5/ legs / legs / legs/ I just have a problem with my arms because when i combine either triceps or biceps with another body part, i tend to be weaker and would lift less so i decided to split it in the three programs above, any help as to which one is best would really help. Thanks |

None of them are optimal for anything.
Dont do a body-part split, dont work out 5 days in a row. Do a 3 day a week upper/lower or full body split. Those are just splits, though. What exercises/sets/reps/RI's are you doing in your program? |

Gazhole is right, 3 days a week is better, maybe 4. I wouldn't waste time training bi's & tri's together though. The reason you tend to lift less when combining them with other similar motions is because they're already fatigued.
