    Anyone used one of these?

I've been looking for reviews on these Powertec
and Bodysolid machines and can't find anything except
    on Epinions.com.
I know many here just use a barbell and rack
and I do too. Are they stable and do they allow for
    a full range of movement,etc...
I've been thinking of getting one.
    Thanks for any input.

How much are you paying for it?

It is a decent machine, but I am pretty much against getting a machine save for the keiser cable machine because a machine takes up so much space and typically only serves one function.

It's 699$ Canadian for the Bodysolid one.
It can use either standard or olympic plates
on it. The Powertec one is less money but
you have to buy olympic plates to put on it.
I'm just brainstorming a good all around squat
system for an area I have.
    1. Squat rack, and an olympic bar with more plates.( 600$ with weights)
    2. Hip sled for leg presses and squat. (expensive)
    3. The machine i mentioned above ( already have
the plates for it...600$ or so)
    4. Angled smith machine ( idea scrapped)
I have the room for it and just want to get something good to
    complete my home gym.

He is already getting a squat rack, he wants this in addition. Seems like overkill to me.

I agree. If you get a rack, then you have more than enough options for squatting movements.

    Oh, now I see...

Get the squat rack with an adjustable bench, it is much more versatile.
