I do four sets usually. I wouldn't do them more than three times a week.
And of course, everyone is going to tell you, great abs come from a great diet, which is true. |

i have read that to get best results you should only workout no longer than 1 hour.my workouts are only suppose to last no more than 1 hour and by adding some ab workouts i dont think that im gona be able to finish all the workouts within 1 hour.is it okay for me to workout other body parts within an hour then do my abs after that?or should the ab workout be in that 1 hour session?

Also, as I stated in another thread, I have only been doing them 2X a week, and I'm going to go to once a week for awhile. Because I've noticed a lot better results with my abs from working with free weights, as well as a good diet. Doing some cardio may help too. |

3X a week here. It's true diet is best for the great abs look but I work my abs to help avoid lower back problems.

Yep, that's basically the way to do it right there. I swap cable crunches and reverse cable crunches in every now and again. Do thee above and you will be fine unless you have extremely undeveloped abs.

I throw in the occasional stabilization exercise or rotational PNF movement, but that's about it. I don't generally do traditional ab work.
