Question Absurd Routine

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS
High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com
I have a friend who recently read an article in Men's Health or Muscle and Fitness magazine ( )about a training routine that was done by the actor for the movie Punisher. He's obsessed with it and says that it makes ''scientifical'' sense to him. I guess the routine consists of working out a body part in the morning, and returning to the gym in the evening and doing the EXACT same workout for the EXACT same muscle(s). I keep telling him that that's rediculous. The first thing that came to mind when he wanted to try it was overtraining. Who knows what kind of substances the actor was taking to allow him to be able to do that kind of training.

I do a somewhat standard bodybuilding routine right now and see no reason to stray from what works for me? It just seems amature of him to want to try something just because an actor did it and had great success in a short period of time.

Am I being stubborn or close minded or is there any logic to this? I keep telling him that there's no way in hell I'm going to do something like that..

That guy in Punisher wasn't even that big.

(Or that good of an actor)

Your program is irrelevant if you're juicing big time.

I did bullshit workouts when I juiced a year or so ago. I lost all my strength gains and still looked like shit.

Since working out naturally and powering up in the knowledge department, my results have been astounding. Moreso than when I did steroids...

Here's a great example...At my strongest I could bench 265+....my strength declined so much that one time I hit failure with 135..someone had to pull it off of me. That was a dark day.

sorry about that, a little off topic...

Don't follow actor workouts... that's all I hear about when they are brought up.
The actor is often given steroids to "wip" into shape, and mainly do irregular types of movements. Lots of shoulder work, lots of bicep work. Just shit to make you *look* strong. Most of the workouts are unbalanced, say with lots of upper back/rear delt work but zero lower back work. Or lots of trap work.

Yes total BS. Just tell him in order for muscles to grow they need time away from the gym rather than in the gym.

What a stupid movie that was

What this means is that when we drop a ball and it falls to the ground, it wasn't the ball that moved (down to the ground), but the ground that moved (up to the ball)
