exercise substitution

I am going to do the program outlined in the neanderthal articles, because it is basically focused on the problems I have, except the upper body exercises because I don't have kyphosis or rounded shoulders... But some of the exercises he outlined I can't do, any helpful substitutions appreciated.

Walking Dumbbell Lunges
I was thinking bw box squats

Dumbbell Split Squat Isometric Holds Split Squats while holding onto something?

Pullthroughs I was thinking RDLs? there are already snatch grip deadlifts in the program

There is no real sub for a good set of perfect lunges. This is by far one of the best lower body and core movement alongside squats. If you cannot perform them with DBs simply still perform them, but go for distance such as 200m or 400m+.

The key to any routine lies in your ability to abandon it for another.
