    Thanks for my training help

    I have just completed my first 10 mile race and would like to thank everyone who gave me advice and help with my training.I had done 10ks as i stated earlier in my thread and thought i would try a 10 miler, i set a goal of 90 minutes thinking of 9 minute miles but did it in 80 min 55 secs, so it was 8 min 5 secs per mile so i am well chuffed thanks again everyone...

    Goals; 10k sub 46mins 10 mile sub 77 mins
    half marathon sub 120 mins

    8mins 5secs per mile and it was blowing a gale and chucking it down with rain, the only down side was when i finished my shirt was covered with blood where it hed been rubbing on my nipples,i knew they were a bit sore when i was running but didnt expect them to be bleeding, been told by other runners to wear plasters over your nipples or apply some vaseline....

    Sorry alwaysbelieve1, i finished 168th out of 380 the fastest guys did it in 55mins dont think i will ever be doing 5 min mile pace, my next goal will be under 8 min mile pace for 10 miles..
