Best Routines for Arm Wrestlers?

Back in my 20's... I did some arm wrestling. Mostly, in bars for beers. Hustled a few.

I actually built a horrible contraption in my garage with pulleys. Never got it very usable.

Any strength atheletes or bodybuilders that arm wrestle out there? Special exercises?

From what I've been told, it's all forearm strength and technique.

No Milk, no.
Milk is for babies. When you grow up, you have to drink beer.

all you have to do is strengthen your internal rotators, but make sure you also work your external rotators equally so your shoulders don't get fucked up

also, very important to learn technique

That's key. If you can get your wrist flexed on someone, then you improve your leverage dramatically.

Ultimate Arm Wrestling here has exercises, articles, equipment etc.

Most of the equipment you can make with 1" galvanized pipe and fittings.

Thanks for the link!

Another thing not mentioned here, I think, is exceptional core strength. Important to turning the opponent over.

Those grippers... how difficult can they be? Anybody tried some that offer most resistance?

there was an ad at my gym last year for an arm wrestling contest. I'd never really tried it before, but I researched some excerises and did a lot of forearm training. The best for workout for me was just taking a catch bar from the squat rack, holding it at my side and rotating the bar forward for ten reps and then backward for ten reps. My first match I beat the previous years state champ; then got my ass handed to me by a deaf guy named "Conan".
