How many litres would you guess you consume during the day?
You drink 3 litres while you are at the Gym?
I normally drink alot of water each day I'm always filling up my 1 liter bottle. But I end up getting that slight throw up feeling in my throat. I guess about 3 liters when I goto gym.
Am I just running out of room in there or what? Is it bad to work abs when your stomach has alot of water? This happens not just when I do my abs.
It's not something new I've noticed it for awile.

3 liters at the gym, and about 3 liters during the day.

lol, thats 6 pints at the gym! thats insane, years ago i played a card game that involved drinking a pint of water if you lost (not as good as alcohol, i know) i drank 6 pints and i could barely move. The moral of the story is, stop drinking so much water at the gym![]()
What ever happened to the idea... "drink when you are thirsty or preparing to be thirsty"? LOL
I sip when I workout... if I'm feeling "thirsty".
"Wait 'till you see special photos of my old man butt in April!"

An hour of kick ass cardio rarely gets me to the bottom of a 1.5L bottle during (after is another story).
I can't imagine downing 3 liters while lifting. I just hit the fountain real quick between every 3-4 sets.
Strap a 10lb plate to your bottle and alternate hands when you sip and you can scratch curls off your 'to-do' list.![]()
On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

I have 2 cups of water before, 2 cups after a workout. I drink nothing throughout, i hate anything going into my stomach during exercise. Makes me wanna hurl.
I have no idea how you can drink that much...

I drink a lot of water during working out. In fact, its the only time of the day that I drink a lot of water. I use a Dasani bottle that I fill up maybe 2 times during the workout. I kind of have to drink when I work out cuz SNOT goes down my esophagus (sp?), giving me a feeling of a finger down my throat...so, the water pushes it down.
Without a sense of nausea, ive always wondered if consuming too much water can be detrimental to training.

you know... if you drink to much water, it can poison your body...
probably 128 oz (a gallon) in a day is plenty enough guys... lets not go overboard
and as a rule of thumb... if you pissing out pure water, your getting plenty, no need to guzzle it...

hyponatremia or water intoxication... look it up
I wasn't referring to 1.5 liters being a crazy amount, i said that you would have to drink a crazy amount (upwards of 8 liters) for your body to start flushing out salts and causing yourself problems. You cannot 'poison' your body by drinking too much water. Water intoxication is not poisoning.
Hmm, the first part of my last post makes no sense and is also very untrue, you should probably ignore it![]()
