Provided you warm up first, it's ok. I don't believe it has any specific advantages over normal pyramid training or straight sets.

If you're shooting to stay in a rep range (e.g. 6-8) for all your sets you'll tend to be forced to reverse pyramid. I kinda lean towards this method.

What this means is that when we drop a ball and it falls to the ground, it wasn't the ball that moved (down to the ground), but the ground that moved (up to the ball)
