So it's called a "Planche"
I want to be able to do a human plank. ie. supporting my body, perfectly flat, supported only by my two arms in a pushup position. And then to be able to do pushups like that, feet elevated.

How would I go about training to do that?

You could start by doing Frogs, planks, supermans, rollouts and navel pullups- so you are horizontal to the floor. Big movements like overhead squats, snatches, deadlifts, squats will help too. You need extremely strong lower back and ab muscles to do planches. Honestly, the only people I know that can do those are gymnasts... If you have a long torso and shorter legs you have a big advantage. Why do you want to do them?

Honestly, it's just for kicks. I have alot of respect for gymnasts who are able to manipulate and fully control their body.
I have ridiculously short legs for someone who is 5'10. I wear 32-30 pants and the legs still sag around my ankles.

Holy jesus... I suck at this. I can't even do a frog stand with straightened elbows...
Time to practice!

Balance is definitely the first thing to conquer. I can now balance myself doing the frog, but now I need to work on holding it for longer.
