I tried this again this morning as part of my ab workout...still felt absolutely nothing.
I've changed the volume, weight, and technique. I squeeze at the bottom of the crunch, hyper extend my back, etc.
WTF is wrong, I know it works but what am I doing wrong? I guess it would be hard to tell w/o a video, is there a common mistake you could warn me against?
You guys are going to lose. You might as well just cheer for me, because Boston isn’t winning in Boston for the season opener. I’m sorry. " - Gilbert Arenas
I see guys doing this all the time mainly because they think they look cool pushing the whole stack and it makes them feel strong. Then I put them on a Swiss Ball and have them do 10 proper crunches and they cry because they have no real strength.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.
The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.
I see people do crunches all the time in the gym. Then I have them try and hold a plank for 20sec or perform bird dogs without spinal movement and an isometric hold in an extension and they can't do it becasue they have no real abdominal strength.

Glad no one answered my question. Should I jsut drop them?
I do the swiss ball crunches in the same ab workout, and some sets on the curl machine.
