I'll say 2. You could even get away with 1 if you eat really well and make that 1 workout seriously intense.

What this means is that when we drop a ball and it falls to the ground, it wasn't the ball that moved (down to the ground), but the ground that moved (up to the ball)

if he did 2 a week how different would his workout be from say if he did 4 days a week?

would he do more per muscle group in the 2 days then the 4 four or keep it the same just more muscle groups worked each day ?

Volume does not need to be overly high with 2 FBW's per week. You still don't want to be in the gym for more than an hour.

18 set x less than one minute each = 18 minutes maximum + 2min estimated maximum rest time interval between each set =36 minutes

36+18=54 minutes maximum

if you rest 30 seconds between each set and 2 minutes between each exercise you get less than 40 minutes for your total workout

Absolutely. Even 2 days, though it might take longer (not to imply that more days in the gym will necessarily accelerate growth) and those 2 workouts must be good.
