not sure if your thinking of the same thing i am, what it is, its like a belt you wear across your abs, with little cells on them on the inside, it sends electrical impulses into your muscle's causing them to contract. i know before bruce lee used to shoot, he would spend like 10 minutes tensing up his whole body, to give him a more pumped/toned look. these basicly do the same without you having to do it yourself, the electric shock makes your body just tense.

The best is when I saw an infomercial on one of these belts and they showed a pretty toned guy, laying down on his couch with one of these on eating fcuking potatoe chips. Hahahah I would say a pass, but since your using with a good workout and diet, it may be a bit helpful.
After almost 2 weeks... I am back and better than ever.

i bought something similar in the past ... it's not natural so possibly it will have a bad impact on something else ...also it won't work for burning calories..if you are tired of crunches try some ab machines as a change , also try cable crunches ....and use weights while crunching , any way it's all about losing fat .. you could have a six pack just by a good diet ..abs start to be visible after 12% body fat percentage...lots of crunches will just add endurance and strength to your abs..

sorry bud but that's a very bad diet don't expect to get a lot of results on it..

read the diet stickies they'll have every thing you want regarding bulking/cutting .....first you need 4-6 meals per day ....protein must be included in all your meals ..you must have at least 1 gram of protein per lb of your lean body mass..........

I knew someone who had on of those things, she said you had to smear some kind of conductive goo on her stomach for the electrodes to work and that it felt like someone was pinching her skin... she didn't have shit for abs either.. so I'd say def pass

Agreed, there a load of crap, mainly aimed at lazy people, although not in your case. Depending on your bodyfat (and at 183lbs & 6 ft3 its probably quite low, although this is just a guess!) you could probably stand to gain a bit of bf% without losing much noticeable definition within your midsection (which is what is sounds like your worried about) However generally on a bulk you will gain a small amount of fat depending on how large the calorie surplus is. It is possible to not gain any but you would have to be very strict in your diet and the surplus that you might find your gains are a lot slower.

My advice, dont bother with the ab belt, keep doing compound movements like squats and deadlifts as they target your core and some extra ab work aswell if your concerned about how developed your midsection is.

I can't see how they would work really.. Using electrical pulses to contract your abbs? Surely you could just contract them yourself over and over and it would have more effect? I'm thinking the amount of electricity you would have to use to contract your abbs enough to make them grow would probably kill you.

Don't be stupid. The belt mimics the electric impulses sent out by the nerves. If strong ab contractions could kill, then thinking too hard must also be fatal.
