simple routine-is this enough?
Mon,Wed ,Fri--- Flat Bench ,Military Press , Squats,Abs
Tue,Thur,Sat---Bent over Rows,Pull Ups , Deadlifts ,Abs Sun---Off I do the squats and deadlifts last on their days because they take so much out of me,I wouldnt be able to put much into the other exercises. I am thinking of putting a different exercise in place of the pull ups but do not know which one I need to put in yet.Are the exercises that I am currently doing cover everything? I am doing 3 sets of each of these to failure at nearly every set. Any advice that I can get on this routine to tweak it to make it any better would be appreciated. I would like to keep it as simple as I can because my last routine had too many different exercises fo each bodypart, |

I would say you're going to burn yourself out squatting 3 days a week, deadlifting 3 days a week, and benching 3 days a week... I'd be more partial to something like 2 days upper body and 2 days lower body per week. Squat and Deadlifts ARE extremely taxing, I'm starting to not even deadlift once a week now.
Also, training 6 days a week to failure on every set, nevermind squating and deadlifting 3 days a week each is going to kill you CNS. |
