My mother bought one last week. I also tried it out last week. I suppose it could be ok, but not worth the money. None the less you already got one, so it isnt to bad of a piece of equipment.

What are you trying to accomplish with the ab lounge? "Feeling" something does not necessarily make it a good workout.

My aunt who probably has not had to workout a day in her life bought one. I remember my grandmother having one of these contraptions when I was a kid. It was right next to the things that you stood on with a belt wrapped around you and it made everything jiggle. An older version of a power plate I suppose

I personally love doing bicycles!

i tried one of these at a party once, (friends mom was outta town) and i think you would be best off using swiss balls instead, just for the variety they provide.

yea i have one in my downstairs bedroom and actually use it as a seat when i watch tv there. but as for working out it really is not that effective. old fashioned crunches work alot better and i only bought it because it looked like it worked and my back and neck hurt from floor crunches. so if you want to get nice abs from it,dont bother, but it is comfy as a seat

I knocked out 180 sit-ups during my workout tonight.

You wanna "feel something" try that.

nothing like wasting money on a piece of shit equpitment that does only one thing. What do you do when you adapt to the ab lounge? Use it as a coat rack I suppose.

Ah, the ab LOUNGE....because the thing that people need to do is sit down more! People sit all day!!

It's a waste of money in my opinion, but I'm glad you're happy with it.

I'm with P though. I always thought the word "lounge" in the name of a piece of exercise equipment was kind of nonsensical...

I have one of the first versions with the strap at top, it seems to strain the neck alot. And its like your gonna pull the strap off. It seems ok for obliques but I just throw my clothes/coats on it these days.

But all in all normal crunches seem better to me.
