    after being sick..

To resume lifting again: Should you wait until you feel almost all better, or until your lymph node swelling goes down all the way?

Think of it this way. When weight training you are tearing down muscles an it takes your body to rebuild those muscles. And if you are sick your system has to work overtime which makes it harder to get to 100%. Something has to be compensated for somwhere.

What kind of "sick" are you...cold, flu? Are you on antibiotics?

This is my rule: Sweat out a cold, rest the flu.

That is, when your cold tapers off you can get back into the gym and work at a reasonable comfort level. Be curtious and wipe down all equipment you use, and cough/sneeze into your elbow not your hands.

Stay at home if you have the flu, and especially if your not finished your presciption. Raising your heart rate on meds could cause major problems.

    Take care of yourself!!!!
