Need tips to get in shape

Hey y'all, new here. Well I'm 42 years old and have 2 kids. Need to get rid of the love handles and some extra weight.

What I do right now is go for a brisk walk about 20 minutes in the evening on a treadmill. Also do some crunches before that. Some push ups and curls sometimes.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Are you willing to join a gym or buy some equipment?

Above all you must know that this must be more of a lifestyle change than anything. You can't expect to force your body into better now then maintain that when you eat crap and sit around all day.

    a) lifestyle change like yanick said. You need to eat a healthy diet.

    b) intense exercise. walking "briskly" is only going to take you so far. either you have to join a gym and start lifting some weight (yes, actually lifting weights), or you are going to have to learn how to perform interval body weight circuits, if you really want to realize your fat loss goals.
