Anyone ever train Chest and Bis together?

I've been trying a few things, and getting a good solid routine down that I like. Tonight I am going to do chest and bis. I know chest is typically trained with tri's and back with bi's, but I want to switch things up a bit.

Anyhow heres my routine, goal is muscle maintainance more or less as I'm losing 50lb right now. Already clipped 18lb in 5 weeks.

    Chest
Dumbell Flat Bench 3 sets 12-8-6
    Incline Dumbell press ""
(Decline Dumbell press on opposite weeks)
    Cable Crossovers 3 sets

    Bi's
Straight bar curl 3 sets 12-8-6
    Preacher curls 3 sets 12-8-6
Seated incline dumbell curls 3 sets 12-8-6

All free weight unless otherwise mentioned with me, I'm not terribly fond of machines and such. So what do you think, add more excercises or different arrangment?

Also I'll finish this with 30 mins of cardio.
I do my best to focus on the task at hand, and give 100% in what I'm doing at the time. Nothing else matters except the task at hand.

Personally I don't think it really matters, with what bodyparts you do with what. But my only suggestion is do the cardio 1st if your true goal is weightloss and muscle maintenance.Critique and follow your diet respectively and everything will fall into place.

I've got the diet covered. That partis solid.

I have to admit you are the first and only person I have ever heard reccomend cardio before weight training. My thought is that I will be tired and basically cheat myself out of a potentially good workout.

I know I'm going aganist the norm but its seems that shedding the 50lbs is a bit more important to you than anything else.when the weight comes off then i would worry and change my routine accordingly to gear towards muscle/strentgh.You wanna maintain ur current muscle size and strip off wats on top.

I'm doing well on the weight loss, and had a terrible diet going back. So the weight loss will really be a result of good diet and solid training.

Ah yes the other big headed freak.

Well Chest and Bi's was killer today. Gonna make that one a staple of the work out routine.

I am focusing on cutting right now so I too do my cardio before my weight training. As my body changes, my workout will change with it.
After almost 2 weeks... I am back and better than ever.

I believe a rest day or two helps - IMO - personally I would do cardio after weights - have as much energy as poss for working muscles to failure.
I'm 34 - when am I officially an old fart?

You are more than likely overtraining, you need rest. You won't be getting the most of out your training by doing that everyday, by far. You could also easily develope overuse injuries.

Read the stickies at the top of the training forum, you will learn alot.

Also, if you are training that everyday, when are you training your legs?

Weight loss is primarily a factor of changing your diet, "cardio" only plays in a little bit in the grand scheme of things.

I train my legs the same day I train my upper body, everything all together
I usually just take the weekend off from working out
and I've been watching what I eat
I guess I should just work out every other day
