using an olympic bar is the only way to get "all" the benefits out of dead lifting...
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

Straight bar. They have a set with several different weights...starting with 20 pounds going up to about 100 or so.

I usually deadlift when I am at the gym, and the type of bar I like is one with a lot of hot women in it.

That picture looks like w8s sex implements.

I don't have a set day for deadlifts, I do stiff leg for hams, and plain for back. I only have a straight bar to use also.

I do deadlifts as my first exercise on back day and I use an Olympic bar. It seems as if using bar B in the photo would make the lift easier to do.

Yes, it does. Standing in the center of that bar gives you a more natural lift. But if you're used to using a straight bar, you're trained in that movement, I wouldn't recommend using the shrug bar with heavy weight right off the bat.

I only do the stiffies and so they are on leg day.

Just use a regular old straight bar for them. Never even considered on of the others. Guess I need to experiment more.

DB deads can be subbed for shrug bar deads.

They make you use more quads than conventional OL bar deads though.

I'm doing regular Deadlifts at the moment every back day, trying to keep the weight increasing every week or failing that a rep or two increase.

Only got an Olympic Bar, what I call a stubby and an EZ at my gym so Olympic it is
