    Back/Biceps

I hit arms every Friday, but on Tuesday I hit back...I was wondering what type of Bicep workout (sets/reps) should I throw in to give my biceps a little extra work after Back? They are lacking, to the rest of my buddy, and I want to work them a little extra...

Should I do a full bicep workout, or something shorter? Will just giving them a pump mid-week help them?

I work my bis on back day. I do 2 exercises of 2-3 sets (usually total 5 sets). That is all the direct bi work I do per week.

I do 2-4 sets of bicep single joint movements per week and my progress has been fine.

I toss in 3 sets of reverse barbell curls and 3 sets of hammer curls within my back workout. You might aswell hammer those forearms while you're doing heavy back work.

3 sets of 1 isolation exercise is plenty usually.

    Compound > Isolation

Pump doesn't do squat for hyperthrophy

Your biceps are small muscle groups => don't need much training

I have been doing 2 exercises 3x4-6/8/10-12 on my chest day. I have biceps. The reps depend on what week it is.
