Where did you get these exercises from? Only the first seems to be close to a true 5x5 workout (as laid out by Bill Starr).

I did the Mad Cow 5x5 variant. It was great. I should warn you that it's pretty tough.

How long have you been working out?

Then start with a less demanding routine. You don't want to try too hard too fast. You may end up getting frustrated and quitting weight training all together.

Take it slow and steady at first. Keep to the basic lifts (Squats, Deadlifts, Military Press, Bench Press, etc.). Learn, learn, and learn some more.

If you want to do a program (which is a big help when you start out), try one of the great routines in the stickies at the top of this forum; or try Power/Rep Range/Shock (aka P/RR/S). There is a sticky for this too.

If you take it slow and steady, you're more likely to keep at it over the years and get the physique that you've been wanting.

waht I dont like about that is that they are split routines. I like the full body routines better.

That's a good thing! Being new to weight training, a full body routine is what you need. There are full body routines in the stickies that you can do.
