Well, I tried doing them today..
Its where you stand on your hands (a hand stand) and basically push up. Naturally, i dont have perfect balance, so I had to put my legs on the wall. However, when I pressed up, my toes dragged on the wall. I did these in my socks mind you and I couldnt make my legs 'glide' straight up and down. Any pointers? |

Just go into a handstand so that the back of your head is facing the wall- one time it- after a while you won't even need the wall. If you lose your balance it's easy to just land back on your feet again... |

These sound fun and valuable when you can't get to a gym.

Yes. But unless you do them with your hands raised up on something- like two chairs or phone books- the ROM is less.
The thing that makes them hard is when you start to do them free standing- because you have the balance factor. Another cool thing is you can start in a headstand position. Also if you get to the point where they become too easy- like you can do 20+ you can add a vest to the equation. Brutal. |

I do them on 4 phonebooks each side to increase the ROM. Im trying to build up so I can do them weighted. My freind can do clappers of them, but Im afraid I would fall on my head
