Weight Train and Bjj on the same day ?
Hey guys.
Currently at the moment i do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 2-3 days a week and looking at going to the gym, now at the moment i cant workout in the mornings so it would have to be after work or after brazilian jiu jitsu. Now i am wondering is it okay to do BJJ And Bodybuild on the same time within 0-3 hours of each other as thats the only time i can really do it at the moment. Example: MON Work finish at 5:30pm home by 5:45pm Bjj - 8:00pm - 9:00pm WED Work - finish at 5:30pm home by 5:45pm Bjj - 7:00pm - 8:00pm FRI Work - either 9 - 3 or 3 - 9, usually can hit the gym on this day easily Bjj - 8:00pm - 9:00pm What do you suggest that i do ? Cheers |

You can definitely do BJJ and weight train on the same day. It's best if you can weight train before hand. I used to do weights (I typically went heavy (low rep sets, before BJJ and Krav Maga) because I knew I would really get a good stretch and just a ton of repetitive ecentric motions. It would be best if you could split, and do BJJ three days a week and weight train three other days.
