    Lifting while sick

What does everyone think? Bad idea, or do you think you get something out of those workouts where you are sick with a cold or sore throat?

Weight training already taxes the immune system. Training while sick will only prolong your full recovery, plus it is very inconsiderate to your fellow gym members who I guarantee don't want what you have.
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

Very bad idea. I remember when I first started training, if I had a bit of a cold coming and I couldn't resist training, it always got worse, and sometimes even ended up like the flu.

It is definitly not a good idea, but if you are going to do it make sure you are taking Glutamine and a MultiVitamin.

I agree, you're better off just resting until you feel well.

Agreed, if you're not 100% going into a lift session you risk injury.
