Yes, we call that our second session! Anyway....

My Dad just bought a Life Fitness Elliptical and LOVES it! The treadmill was killing his knees and he needed something different. He's currently addicted and loves the power of resistance that he can do on it. Dad's a toughy

I was thinking about an elliptical. Most of the home ones I've seen look so cheesy though.....How does this one look?

We have a treadmill, stationary bike and an ellyptical glyder; I recommend the ellyptical.

We bought ours at Sears, it is a Nordictrack, I think it was around $1,000 and it is pretty decent.

New Balance or Asics makes good home cardio equipment.

If sense were common, everyone would have it.

A rower Concept II. I keep looking for one.

Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

I concur.

Jump rope
sled
bodyweight (burpees!)
punching bag
sand bags
keg
tires
car
rope (+sled)
running
high rep dumbell snatches

all make a fun and productive cardio session.

not sure which model we have, we bought is a few years ago.

we were a little pissed after we bought it though because we found a Norictrack outlet store that had it for the same price as Sears except the outlet store delivered and set it up in your house free of charge!

I've been looking on their site. They look like they have some decent ones.

I live so far away from the gym and doing cardio after lifting sucks. So having something in my home ought to make things easier. Plus I can watch what I want on TV so I'm not so bored

No thanks. I just want one basic piece of equipment to get regular cardio out of the way. I save the gym for everything else.

agreed, we have a gym in our basement and it is great for cardio as well as working out on those days when you just don't feel liking going to the gym.
