when this happens to me, I just switch the TYPE of cardio to low impact (my favorite is the treadmill on a random hill). Just be sure to make it challenging. I do this for two weeks (HIIT) and 1 week of low impact for about 35 mins.

Eat well, train daily, die anyway.

what speed on the tredmil is a challenge for you?

It's not who you are underneath, it's what you do that defines you.

Im still very wary of treadmills (after watching a guy come flying off one while doing sprints and almost knocking himself unconsious on the console!), but instead of increasing the speed, when i feel i need more of a challenge, i increase the incline. Gets the heart rate up every time!

Yeah, maybe i'll do incline, around 6 or 6.5 (or raise it depending on how i feel). Do that for a week, then go back to HIIT training for 2 weeks.
