Just one exercise
BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com Hey folks,
Thinking of starting a different training regimen to shake things up a little bit. Question: If you were only going to do one exercise per body part, which would it be and why (physiologically speaking). I'm assuming on certain ones, such as: Chest - Bench Press Legs - Squat Biceps - BB curls Triceps - Dips Back gives some interesting options, as do shoulders. Deadlifts and Military Press or Dumbbell Press and Barbell Row or Arnold Press and Chins? |

For back I would do rows, for shoulders either upright rows or laterals for me (I do not do military presses).
For triceps I would do french presses or close grip bench. |

As most anybody here will agree, I'm odd. I'd do Deads and Rows. Deads because they're just about equal to squats for overall development. Rows to specifically target the lats but also to hit the posterior head of the deltoid. Your Anterior head already gets enough stimulation from Bench Pressing. In other words, NO direct Deltoid movement. You're already getting enough secondary stimulation from other exercises.

legs- squats
back/bi's- chins, deads shoulders- Military press chest/tri's- dips I think you could build a pretty solid routine around these moves. |
