im new here and i wanna know if its possible to make the line that splits the left and right of ur abs deeper and more spaced out so that ur abs could like be farther apart (not by much). If its possible how can u do this.
-Oh one last thing, is it possible to make asymmetrical abs, symmetrical, or even more symmetrical than before? or once u get abs to completely show and be ripped, is it set in stone?

Milos says the best thing for getting deeper cuts into your abs is hanging leg raises.

Abs is diet.
Witchblade nailed it. Diet and Cardio is the secret, lol.
Also that genetics thing ...
While abs certainly can be worked on through diet and exercise, a little help from good ol' deoxyribonucleic acid sure helps.
I suppose if your obliques were smaller, it could create the illusion of a deepr seperation.
No Milk, no.
Milk is for babies. When you grow up, you have to drink beer.

makes your abs bigger? I dont know why. its something milos says on one of the fit shows "hanging leg raises will give you deeper cuts in your abs" and he seems like a pretty knowledgeable guy.

If it was possible to change ab shape me thinks Jay Cutler would have done this years ago but the only thing you can do, as people have rightly said, is exercise them and cut down you bf%.
I love it when a plan comes together.

again, why are we looking at any exercise as an isoloated muscle? How about calling this "core training". The core is much more than just your abdominals.

the abs functions are to posteriorly tilt the pelvis and to flex the trunk. So leg raises do work the abs, the best way to do them is so that they work the abs isometrically (keep your pelvis neutral), if you are just lowering you legs and raising them without focusing on your pelvis, your pelvis is most likely tilting dynamically during the movement (still training the abs), but I think it is more functional to train your abs to keep your pelvis in a neutral position to keep your posture healthy. Also I see no reason to train your abs with trunk flexion, because that is not functional there is no reason to have strong trunk flexors in life.
