Other people on the site would probably disagree with you, but I tend to agree. I see the most improvement when I workout my calves in the 25-45 range.
I do seated calve raises and standing calve raises. Sometimes I alternate between them, and sometimes I superset them. |

Since theyre mostly slow twitch fibers, I wouldnt disagree either. However, that particuliar rep range may be high. Id just do both high & low reps, depending on what week I am on, plus switch exercises periodically.

I do 5X15 on both standing calf raises and seated calf raises three times a week and I have noticed significant development over the last half year.

If your calves are small, chances are high reps are the answer, as has been mentioned. Mine will grow just thinking about it, and they burn pretty much all the time, so low reps works for me.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

I do them in the high rep range. I don't know if people would disagree but you could probably do them 2X a week, as well.

yeah, I've heard some people say you sould constantly be working your calves and other sources say do it a couple times a week. I've found that 3x a week works good.
