Would this work

ive been working out ofr a while and wonder if this would be a good idea or not work

bench for 7 straight days
then maybe recover for 10

would that build more muscle than doing it 2 or 3 times a week?

Your muscles grow after a workout. During a workout you put strain/stress on them which they need to recover from. Apply this knowledge to your training.

You wouldn't even be able to do it if you tried. If you really hit bench hard, you shouldn't be able to bench the next day at all, really. You're muscles would be broken down. So even attmepting to do it 7 days in a row would absolutely obliterate them. You'd likely try your first set on day 3 and bag the idea.

Although you say you've been working out for a while, there is a lot you still have to learn.

1st, you can't build a good physique from training chest alone (and that includes training biceps after too!)

2nd, if you train just chest without anything else, your gains will plateau and your shoulders will be pulled forward and cause future problems.

3rd, you gain no respect for training just chest

I love it when a plan comes together.

that's freaking silly

You should try it out. It's like an extended HIT.

I cant believe I am even going to write this, but this reminds me of something I saw a guy from a little gym I used to go to do. With the exception he never ever took a day off! He benched every single day and his bench was phenominal. But then again, there are always exceptions to the laws of the human body! This guy had to be a freak, besdies imagine what he couldve did if he did it correctly!

I would keep to what your doing. The most I would bench in a week is 3 times and thats with a good structured program of intensity levels.

Pitching 100 balls in one day will not prepare you for a game. It takes years to develop the motor skills AND the muscle endurance to pitch 100 balls without losing form due to fatigue the more you throw.

The body performs differently when fatigued, and to perform a good pitch when fatigued issues an altered motor program to accomplish the task (because the muscles used normally can't operate in the exact same way as normal).

Developing the technique to still pitch well after 50 throws is what differentiates professionals and amateurs. Giving that program to a 14 year old is nuts.

Not only will pitching 100 balls (maximum effort throws here) not prepare you for a game....think about the fact that he was asked to throw 100 pitches on tuesday and then pitch again 2 days later on thursday. That is ludacris!

I asked him how many game a week his team plays. he said when the season starts full swing in two weeks they would be playing 3 games a week with 1 practice. I asked how many time he was going to pitch. He said probably start one game a week and then a few innigs during the other two games.

those coaches should be fired. that nears child abuse IMO.

The kid's gonna need Tommy John surgery if he keeps up with that routine. It's becoming a bigger and bigger problem among youths today .
