Foam rolls are a good stretching movement before or after a workout. You roll it about an inch a second up and down a certain area until you find a tender spot and then you leave it there for 20-30 seconds. I would suggest doing it!

great for improving tissue density and working on trigger points. Helpful in stimulating the GTO and getting overly active muscles to relax.

I use it allll the time, it is great. Not only for it's original purpose, but after a 15 minute foam roll session you get pretty damn warmed up.

I use it 5 or so minutes each 2-3 times a week for tissue integrity.
